Privacy

The short version: no cookies, no ad tech, no profiles. Anonymous usage counts so we can make the builder better, and your email only if you ask for alerts.

Analytics — anonymous, cookieless

We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, in cookieless mode: it sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, which is why there’s no consent banner. We record anonymous events — pages viewed, which builder options get chosen, whether a search succeeded — with query strings stripped. Repeat visits look like new visitors to us, by design. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest in understanding how the product is used; nothing here is used for advertising and nothing is shared with ad networks.

Outbound clicks

When you click through to a merchant we log the click (a random id, the product, the merchant, when) so affiliate commission can be reconciled — that’s how the site is funded, and it never affects rankings. The click record contains no name, email or profile, and the id is not linked to analytics.

Email — only if you subscribe

If you sign up for price drops or the newsletter we store your email address, your chosen interests and when you consented — nothing else, and nothing is sent until you click the confirmation link (double opt-in). Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your address entirely at any time.

Accounts — one strictly-necessary cookie

If you create an account (passwordless sign-in link) we set a single session cookie so you stay signed in — that’s a strictly necessary cookie for a service you asked for, not tracking, and it’s the only cookie this site sets. Your account stores your email and your wishlist. Delete your account and both go with it.
