## Method
- Source: extracted.coffee's live price board (current available offers), limited to UK-based sellers — origin is read from each seller's domain and storefront name. This is a snapshot of the board on the day the edition was computed, not a change history.
- A "contest" is one model carried by 2+ of the sellers we track. A seller can only be cheapest where a real head-to-head exists — a model only one seller stocks is excluded entirely (nobody can win uncontested).
- "Cheapest %" is the share of a seller's own contests where it held (or tied) the lowest live price. The denominator is only the contests that seller actually appeared in — never the full board.
- This is a UK-only league: a model needs 2+ UK sellers to be a contest, and overseas sellers are excluded entirely — their prices never enter the maths. A brand's multiple storefronts are collapsed to one so it can't beat itself. To be ranked, a seller must contest at least 5 models — cheapest on one lucky model is noise, not a finding.
- "Typical gap" is the median amount above the winning price that seller asked across its contests; 0 means it is usually the cheapest. Prices are compared exactly as the catalog returns them — no rounding, before shipping.
- Same class rules as the rest of the site: subscriptions, gift sets, sample packs, unroasted coffee and wrong-voltage imports are excluded. Models are our own product-cluster assignments; the underlying catalog does not group sellers' listings.
- Editions are computed once, dated, and never edited. If we ever correct one, the correction will be visible as a new edition, not a silent change.
